the rearsets are off '01 zx12....need to move them up more, can't drag my knees!!LOL

this is really well done. good build. I am thinking a versys swap would be tits. Considering it is a very similiar engine, it should work very well. These are my thoughts, and when my engine gets on in age I may look at doing it.

i was very amazed on how well this bike handled. you can get down in the turns hard now..on my other bike i dont trust it in the turns....feels like the front end wants to slip out..could be the small front tire. i used '93 gsx-r 750 front clip and gsx-r 1100 rear swing arm, dont know what year 88-93??

X2 on that. They feel nothing like an old Z after the conversion.

Please give some details. I have my '81 750 down to bare frame and can't decide which direction to go. i just pulled the front end off this weeked and started thinking about a front end swap, but i have no idea where to begin looking for donor front ends or what will even be feasable. I have designed a Single sided swingarm for a 250 tire but am low on funds and cannot afford to fabricate it at this point. For now i just want to get my baby back together but with a new front and rear end. I just don't know what parts will fit with the least amount of custom machine work. If anyone could give some suggestions as to what swingarm and what front from which bikes will fit i would be oh so greatful. I will post some pics when i start a new build thread.

This build looks amazing, top notch work.

On my 77 650 I used a ZX7 fork and a GPZ mono rear. It was pretty easy.

i dont know yet what color i will paint it, this flat black is growing on me, might have to do a nice flat black??? my other idea was original brown/orange paint scheme? anybody have better ideas, anything is possible as i will paint it.
