Has anyone used this company? Prices looks good and it is the best looking arm I can find. I only not happy about lead time of 12 to 18 weeks. www.swingarm.com/

I've not personally used them but I heard horror stories about delivery times i.e. close to a year to get the arm. Some of the guys on oldskoolsuzuki.info have ordered arms from there and not one has anything good to say about delivery time. The quality is suppose to be amazing but there are a few other companies that make just as good as an arm and have better shipping times.

JMC has been around for a while. I am familiar with Top Fuel in Pueto Rico (the N. America Dist) as well.

The arm looks great, but the swingarm.com website is getting no traffic and I heard issues about delivery from JMC. I would see if Top Fuel has any in stock if you are in the US.

Also, if in the US, consider TRAC Dynamics in SoCal - www.tracdynamics.com . 2 week turn around, kinda local, aluminum, not sure if the do eccentric adjusters?

If my GS1100 arms doesn't do the trick for me - I plan on the TRAC arm. Although you do have me thinking about JMC;)

I just recently purchased an 8" over arm from D&G Chassis in Florida. Dave Scaggs built me a beautiful Chrome-moly arm and had it in my hands lickity split. He's an interesting guy to talk to. Outfits like Trac hardly touch old school extended arms like the KZ and GS guys want. They've moved on to the billet crap for Busas and such. Give Dave a call and you won't be disappointed. His website is www.dgchassis.com

Good Luck,

Andy

I have no ties with any of these - I did the same research for my bike and contacted McIntosh, who is also very reputable, but I wanted aluminum not heavy steel, so Trac was the company I targeted. Trac did not offer much styling... as compared to JMC or the German arm or even the Japanese arm that was wildly expensive from Santucary...

one of my best freinds just bought a trac arm 8" over 82 1100 katana he is using stock busa wheels and brakes and twin shock and trac built his arm to fit his wheel and brakes with an axle and spacers it was a perfect fit and the guy's at trac said it was a pleasure to build some thing as unique as that because all they do is build blingy sportbike stuff good turn around and gerald is a very happy kat owner again.they also told him they would gladly build more stuff like that if they could. so give them a try you might be pleasently suprised. after seeing there work i will be ordering one before long.

Just about any one of the companies still making arms for the KZs will make extended. In fact, the extended is what I found most common, since there are still quite a few KZ drag bikes.

I like the 2" over... not going to long to keep it more responsive and just enough to rid the look of the 'squashed' rear-end.

Redline Cycle also has a line of their own. From the pics and description they look like really nice alternatives as well. The price seems reasonable too. redlinecycle.com/swingarm%20-%20direct%20fit%202.html
