Yes,it should. The horizontal fuse (the lower left one) is optional. It does provide a slight bit of safety against wires shorting, or the reg/rec shorting, but is not included in the factory setup, so I often mark it as optional on more recent drawings. That's an older one, so it is not marked optional.

(If you don't want the optional fuse, you would replace it with wire.)

There really isn't a "newest" one. Each one is different based on what the person wants. I was just saying the second fuse is optional.
