When I got my V/H I had a choice. One that covered the oil filter and the one I have now. The one I have is supposed to deliver 10% less HP.

They look rich due to the black soot around the ring. Mine are tan / peanut butter and it is jetted perfectly. If it's running fine though you can leave it alone. I run the Kerker KR1 pipe with the huge race baffle. I left the air jet at .8, I did swap in a .7 while dialing them in and it really richened it up to the point I was not able to get it to idle. Based on your engine, which is basicly stock I would leave the pilot at 17.5, put the .8 air jet back in and go with the 132.5 main jets and see what that gives you. Your jetted richer than mine and I have a modded engine. Whenever I am tuning carbs I will keep going lean until I have running issues then go one step richer. The RS36 carbs are too big for a stock engine, but if you are going to mod it up then they are a good starting point.

With your jetting adjustments, do you get occasional pops on deceleration, and/or while up-shifting?

No popping at all. Starts easy, idles great, very smooth from idle to redline, no flat spots.

Popping returned with .8 air jets and all 132.5 mains, but that was with the competition baffle.
All that changed after I put the street baffle (w/no packing) back in. Feels like improved all-round performance, with 38+ mpg on a hundred mile no-babied ride today, and the pops backed off to just about none.
I'll check a plug after a few more miles...
