I was speaking of the Dual K&N airfilters that Wompy has in his thread. That are so expensive.

I ordered a set today as well. I've got a set of Uni-filter pods designed for what looks like a 550 on it now. Hoping it will liven things up a bit. I'll post up when I get them.

Jay, as a question to you, are these going to fit with the "tall" breather assembly that came stock on my bike (1980 KZ1000 LTD)? I didn't see anything that said they wouldn't. But the low profile breather unit looks cool and is something I'd like to order from y'all soon. Do you also have a breather filter to go with it? I didn't see it on your site.

As far as the price goes they were $69.95 shipped, and that is from coast to coast. I'll post pics when I get them later this week. ;)

I would still be interested in the dimensions at the base of the filter element. How come no one can answer this question. The Throttle position sensor is very close to the #1 throttle body and i need to know if these will fit.

Hey guys while on the subject of air filters, have any of you thought about doing a RAM air set up on your bikes?? I just thought about this yesterday... The idea is to fabricate a set of pipes that will lock on the the air inlet of your carbs and loop around to the side of the bike, two on each side. What do ya'll think?

The crazy filter idea thread touches on that idea. It could be done, but would be tuning hell.

Well crap. My wife wants to go see her father for his 60th birthday tomorrow. A good surprise trip. It would have been nice to be able to send some pics of the pods installed, but they will have to wait. I expect to recieve them by Thur.
