I went to youtube and looked for other videos of the colortune and yours is the best by far. All of the other ones are just yahoos reving their engines to see the color - and they're all yellow! Nobody bothered to show how it changing colors when you adjust the carbs, which is the whole point of the tool! Geez! Again, awesome job. I will order one tomorrow!

As can be reviewed in the attached avi clip, I received the Morgan Carb tuner and pretty much have the throttle valves adjusted where all 4 carbs are within 2cm of each other.

I realize there will be more fine tuning as I go through the jetting procedures for idle to 1/4 throttle and from 1/4 to 3/4 throttle and full throttle adjustments...

All in all, time to button her up, re-check my torques, install the tank and get her registered for her first < 50 mile road trip....

After which, drain and replace the oil and filter then make some more fine tuning adjustments.

Again, re-torque every nut and bolt on the bike, ALL of them....

BTW, thats how close synched I got my flatslides too. Makes a really really big diff.

Indeed, sweet set up... They use little re-stricter tubes in series in your hoses to the carbs where you don't have to dick around with valves...

As can be reviewed in the avi clip, very little bouncing around between each carb to another, very easy to dial them in in this manner.

As mentioned, I will still have some more tweaking to accomplish, today will go through the pilot adjustments and re-carb synch one more time. Basically double check/confirm I didn't miss anything....

Then set the idle ~ 800-1000 rpm...

From that, get her ready for her first road trip....
Keeping a keen eye on the spark plug insulator colors... Burning rich/lean and make adjustments as required...

Just out of curiosity.
When u noticed that the vacuum went up at idle during the color tuning, did u happen to check weather the vacuum was affected at part throttle? maybe that’s a given?? I don’t know.
I'm thinking that the rpm u want the most vacuum would be at the transition area to produce the best throttle response?
Maybe some other with more experience than me, could shed some light on this.
It is fact that with the use of larger carbs, u have less vacuum at low rpms, thus less throttle response.
I also wonder, if u could use these tools to verify exhaust baffle size changes, and there affects on low end vacuum signals??

Do you guys see much use for the mirror set up that comes with the colortune? I found some units without the mirrors for like $30. Not sure if I'd need the mirror or not...

Not required as seen in the avi clip on the KZ900/1000...
This was included for those that have the deep valve covers and weird spark plug locations in the head....

If you can find one for $30, Hell of a deal, all you need is the 14mm see through plug and the 6" extension for the coil to spark plug boot connection...

Do share where you are buying for others....
