This is the big week, two Z2 sell on Thursday, four Z2 on Friday.
I will be reporting results.
What will they sell for? $85k? $120k? $750k?
I have no clue, please post if you have a guess.

I suspect it'll be half that first figure...maybe $45,000. We'll see.

There is probably a greater demand for them than for Z1's, mainly because there are nowhere near as many available for sale.  That should boost the price I would guess.  The Z1 price will likely be lower than last year.  There doesn't seem to be as much enthusiasm for them this year.

There are two Honda CB750 Sandcasts in the auction.  It will be interesting to see how much they go for.
I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

Kawasaki made 85700 Z1, 24000 thousand Z2.
Seems strange a Z2 could sell for more then a Z1.
I predict Z1 and Z2 prices will be lower this year.

73 that 1976 look more proper then the others with a few exceptions if you know what you're looking at. If i were to buy a raffle ticket for final prices i would say none would crest over 40K

Z1 values seem to have peaked with the 50th. anniversary.  No prediction on prices this year.

What dumbfounds me is these cats expecting fabulous prices selling don't go just a bit further into original? Doesn't really take that long and doesn't cost that much, considering your going to retrieve it on the end sale. It's just pure lazy sellers and NOT enthusiasts, ya can tell. Like ordering toothpaste thru Amazon, just get off Your bum and walk to the store instead of wasting everyone else's time. Am i just old or..right?

Asphalt900 : I had to replace the killswitch last summer because it  was worn/broken and made the bike run bad  .I thought i had the oem switch .It is in the first picture. I bought a new switch and the seller says that the new switch is the the one that is oem.  I was a little conserned about the new switch because of the on/off  knob on top
may interfere with my knucle when riding, but it works fine as long dont have hand placed to close.
Can you confirm what is the oem switch??   kawa A4 1976 kz900

and i think the green Z2 one will get highest offer maybe 30K ?

Hi, the picture of the switch showing “engine stop” at the front of the switch and the rotory kill lever pointing to the rear is a kz650 unit. hope that makes sense 👍 so in the photo above, showing 2 switches, the top unit is the 650b unit.

I think the issue is the same as the classic car world, many of the "sky high" prices are paid by the privileged few who "just want it" or people with no interest in the item seeing it as an investment opportunity (which pushes prices out of reach of many true enthusiasts)
