No one has asked yet. Maybe they're afraid of the answer. :woohoo:

Thanks for all the ideas on making a stand.
I used some wood I had laying around.
I don't have a garage, just some work space In the basement.
I wanted my carb stand portable, so I can take it outside.

Also gave the carbs a bath.

I did the same. Unfortunately, I built it with old Mikuni VM26 holders...and when I tried to slap the Keihin 29's on it....DOH! Dumb new guy.

Carb stand. by removing the horizontal 2x4, it also functions as an engine block/stand which was its original use when I refurbished the front end.

The stand is two 2x4s screwed together then fastened to a 2x8. the carb holder part is a 2x4 w a couple of L brackets to support the carburetors & 2 lag screws to offset the carbs so they'll be level. plus a bungee cord to make sure they stay in place. the natural tendency of vm24 carbs is to lean against the horizontal board.

Good tank jig. After 40 years being a carpenter, I never made a table like that :S . Brought home mountains of lumber but never thought of it. Nice. B)

My bench is made entirely from recycled 3/4" hem-fir plywood ( 3 sheets)

A work in progress
