Tap the passageways just a little way down, and install some grub screws.

The early KZ1000's didn't have emissions. Some tap and use a grub screw to block off the ports on the later ones. If you're going two piece I suggest using a OEM O ring. The aftermarket ones get hard and split.

This things worn out.
Need a complete set of valves too. 32 and 37mm
Should I give it a little more juice while I'm doing it?
Where can I find new ones?
