Welcome aboard. I hope the previous owner (who routed those lines from the breather into the carb holder vacuum ports) never decides to take up a career as a surgeon. :woohoo: Ed

Ed you got me laughing hard and loud with your comment about the PO deciding to be a surgeon, LOL! :huh:
If anyone needs parts, let me know, got a complete KZ550, parts from the one with the "cranckcase connection", and some for KZ400, KZ650 and KZ750!

I'm trying to roll around in my head the connections- let's say he had them hooked to the breather and got the bike to run... The engine would pull some vacuum on the crankcase, how much, who knows. Now if the airbox was installed it would do the same thing, however less vacuum due to the main air take on the airbox - so maybe it would be more of a draft versus a vacuum. The crankcase is a large volume too so maybe it didn't cause any issues really? If it was pulling a vacuum you wouldn't have to worry about moisture in the oil
