valve fell ruined piston need help.

so i have put a ton of time and money into this bike and mad that now i back at square one. i have with me a 1982 kawasaki ltd 550 was all cleaned and had it running after a minor restoration. but then out of prison number three i saw from the exhaust pipe that oil was spitting out so i turned it off and saw that there was a huge hole in the piston a missing valve and the cylinder walls are a bit scratched up. can anyone point me PLEASE in the right direction on what to do and the parts . i plan on removing the engine from frame AGAIN so that i can work on it .

Parts replacement depends on damage.

You'll need to find some barrels and pistons on eBay and hopefully the head wasn't damaged too much.

I had the pictures but lost them and put the engine back together so it wouldn't get rusted but I will definitely get it taken apart this weekend and post pictures of everywhere that I can . I'm afraid that all the metal and the missing valve is all in chunks at the bottom of the engine . Thanks for the quick reply I will get the engine taken apart today so that I can post the pictures thanks once again !!!
