ZX7/Z1 Oil Cooler

Still sorting-out the oil cooler install swest? I would think that the pressure would go down when lengthening the path the oil takes but I'm no MC mechanic by any stretch of the imagination.

It sounds like a good idea because we all know that air-cooled engines get really hot in-season.

Hope you get it sorted.

There's about 1/2 quart above the head at all times. The oil light goes out instantly and pressure is up as well. Surprise to me. I made sure I had 1/2" ID all the way through, no restrictions. No problems so far. :whistle:
