I guess I could have gone 3/8" line and fittings but 1/2" is better for oil flow. I didn't think of A/C lines, I might be able to get the sizes I wanted to go to the cooler too.

Would the galley plug on the RH side of the engine allow a view of the actual oil galley size? I'm not sure if it's the same there?

Sure, if you only want a larger barb, that's easy enough. From what I understand, you want a larger threaded hole in the engine adapters too, correct?
Why not go -6 AN?

Are there adapter blocks out there that use anything larger than 1/4"NPT? I don't believe I've seen them myself, or maybe just never noticed.
