Les, what is your cam timing? Mine is set at 110/114 using the stock cams.

BTW, my gearing is 15/33 with only a 2" over swing arm - I suspect you are running a little taller gearing - and a much longer swing arm.

Wow, tall timing! Most don't go there. ;) 111/114

Gearing, 18/38 and 4" over and I'm a little lower on ride height. Close on gearing, I'm a little taller there. Big end charge is crazy!

Yes I was a race application engineer for North America. I know turbos and the engine combinations they are attached to. I have done a fair amount of low bench work, but nothing like Larry I am sure. The whole reason I have started this post is because I was looking to narrow the range down so I can focus on gathering maps so I can do my modeling on it. I know Holset data like the back of my hand, but there is no clean comparison or compatibility matrix from Holset to Garret or Borg Warner frame sizes...

Thanks Les. Don't happen to know the diameter of the rear tire do you?

This is why a Busa can make twice the power at the same boost.
That and combustion efficiency reducing the amount of retard needed to live.

Exactly!

As for rear tire dia., Don't know but sure it's a little shorter than the stock kz 18" setup. 180/55-17 Michelin Power One 2ct. it's taller than the dunlaps and shinkos of the same size by but a bit.
