Now for the exhaust, im guessing a 4-2-1 is like the factory duel exhaust? Ive been looking at 4-1 exhausts and they are damn expensive. I found a company that has pre made 4-1 collectors (i could probably make my own but it would take a while and be made by hand) 40 bucks is faster. I am a welder, fabricator, and machinist. I know there is a a lot of math involved in making your own pipes, but if i got general measurements off a 4-1, do you think it would be benaficial to make my own exhaust? Id love to learn how to do it.
Cheers
Jason

Well actually you can, and at 211 mph there aren't too many zx14's going to run away from you (but it ain't cheap).

Yep, all mine it has been a long term project started about 15 years ago, it is scary fast. 0 to pooh your pants in about 2.5 seconds.
I also did the 530 swap on it. Used the rear sprocket off a KZ650 bolts right on and then used a JT conversion sprocket for the front. You can buy the sprockets at Z1 enterprize.

But, like it was said earlier, what does the rules allow. Them little 750's can make some good power and I don't think 100 HP is beyond reach but maybe just not practical or fiscal.

Ok so in all seriousness, no turbos, no NOS. How can i build good street/track power?
So far i have:
1: 4-1 exhaust. Should i take a go at building my own?
2: pod filters
3: mild port and polish
4: cams. Idk what kind.
5: GPz head. Is it even worth it?
6: Ignition. Dayns S?
Thats all i can think of without going crazy in depth and expensive build.
