Not to mention that an R6 ( 599cc) has more intake valve area than a KZ1000.

Our Micro Sprint customers running these engines are turning an indicated 16,500. We balance the cranks for 17,000.

How does one balance a crank for 17000 rpm? Would you not simply balance the crank to the limits of the unit you are using?

I wonder what kind of crappy fuel it would take to build that amount of deposits after only 5000 miles.
