Piston came out fairly easy. I don't think my 1075 engine had spark plug reliefs.

Now to remove paint. Cylinders and head. I hate that job. Roy

I don't believe I can run these pistons on the street. Roy

Good Fortune! :)

You can find a dial bore gauge set for about $50 online.

Roy, I wouldn't want to ride that thing on the street, cam is huge.

The i.d. of these cams came up on another site so I got them out again and looked for more markings.

I removed the notched cam sprockets and there was a some numbers that I hadn't seen before. They were not under the sprockets but on the edege where the sprockets bolt up.

They are stamped. with small and large figures. It is my quess if the circles are o's or 0(numeral)

very small o1 big 70.465B.060

I have googled with no luck but will keep trying.

No, mine has all of that. Read where Jay told what those meant on page one.

Where are the Web marks on yours at? Thanks. Roy

Web grinds the identifying info on the ends of the cams.

Roy,

I'll speculate that if you measure your cams you may well find they have .465" lift with a 1.060 base circle. Measure them and see. The 70 might possibly refer to 270 degrees of duration. If it does, it most likely specs out for less than .050" checking lift for that.

The would be a great cam in a big cc motor, not worth a dam in a moderate compression 1075 for anything but racing.

Okay lets see if my senility is in full force or not .
My best guess at the pistons is MTC 13.5:1 75mm , 1166cc
I'd be guessing at the cams .

~kop

stay in touch I might have use for a piston or two

What did you find out? Did you measure the base circle and figure the lift?
