I was working on the A4 today. I tore the top end down because two spark plugs were broke off flush with the head.
The number three piston had water in it so I needed another top end.
I had the 900 LTD so I went and got it thinking I would start it and maybe remove the top end or swap out engines.
I removed the cam cover. It was a pain to get off. I noticed it had two gaskets on it. I set the A4 cover on the engine and it would not fit down by a long shot.
I started looking at the cams and they were not stock. The head had been clearanced and it had shim under bucket.
The cams measured .418 as best as I could measure.
The cams had these markings on them.

Exhaust, Made in USA, EP14,F19

Intake, GWC,EP14

Does anyone know what these cams are?

The bike had been set up as a dirt drag trike.
Notice the blank journal on the intake. Maybe it could be machined as the tach drive for a exhaust cam.

My andrews don't have andrews cast in them but they are stamped 3X andrews on the ends. Look for stampings on the ends, most manufactures do that I have seen.

Nice find

Those are just the Engine Power billet numbers. EP14 is their number for the Kawasaki KZ blank. CWC was the name they used before. Those should be cast into the blank, so it will not tell you who bought the blanks and ground the lobes. That is usually done with a steel stamp or vibe pencil
