would it change anything if i got a Z1-R head,
and if i got j model police carbs
The head is the same as what you have now.
BS34s will require different carb boots, yours might need to be replaced if they are old and need to be replaced anyway.
Aren't the BS34's CV carbs with butterfly valves? Another hot topic here...some like them some don't.

factory hp numbers much like speedos tend to be a little optimistic at best! :laugh:kzgeary wrote:

i never could figure out how people expect every motor to make the same amount of power no matter where its built/run in the world.
run a bike on a dyno in colorado then take the exact same bike and dyno it next door in nebraska and compare notes

Is that what I said?
Maybe I should of asked if that 65 h.p. was measured at the crank or at the wheel.
And if that 65 h.p. was at the tire that's good for a bike of that displacement and age.
Oh and what part of Colorado?

ouch that hurts! :woohoo:I think if you want 125hp at rear wheel buy a gsxr, for the amount of money it will take to get there you might as well, or slap a turbo on her, or a good bottle of nitro, anything short of a quarter mile your gonna be in the back of the pack, unless your riding with other 30 yr old bikes.

GSXR's are for little girls. If he wants to go fast he just needs to get 1 of these:
