i m with the craigster on this one.....i can handle 1075 builds, but past that you start talkin old big bores and i start talking complete running bikes from the mid to late 90's that downright scream for the same price of a motor in a rickety old "brakes dont fail me now" chassis......dont get me wrong, i love old kz's, but there is a point of diminishing returns and just downright financial foolishness......

i have been out of the loop for a bit lately some medical problems (stomach related) and just when i'm feeling better me and another truck hit a dead moose not a cool thing to do. the other guy's truck hit the ditch and rolled and then threw his two passengers out and killed them i got hurt pretty good myself as well but i was able to help find the passengers not something i'll forget for awhile. but it has given me lots of time to think about things igot a set of 1197 pistons 10.25 to 1 from a guy in texas. i have a really good head built for just this type of engine already to go it's getting a set of .465" intake .435" exhaust cams 33.5 gsxr flatslides with accelerator pumps so no big flat spots this combo will make close to 125-130 horse and still be a reasonable street motor with gobs of tourque. it's getting a good tranny and heavy duty basket i'm using a kz 1000 crank for two reasons one i already have a nice welded one and two it will cut down the vibrations it's getting a star street sidewinder which is a bit higher than the v&h sidewinder for extra ground clearance and it has a baffle so it will keep the cop's somewhat happy. dyna 2000 ignition system this all going into a pro-street chassis that i have kicking around. that's the plan anyway if i can survive the dam winter that is. or i just start riding the 175+ horsepower zx-12r that i bought a month and a half ago.either way i win.

Jeez Tim, thats a rough one. Not every day you hit a dead moose, but those buggers can cause a lot of shit alive or not.

Glad you're back and ok!!
