I Would Slow down and start at square one, the head !
Then like they say watch ebay and c list there is always motors and parts bikes CHEEP!
You could find a running 1000 motor if thats what you want.


Some of the guys on here have done some detailed builds
if that isnt what you are into than mabie this kz thing isnt for you . There are tools that you have to buy and nit pick every thing! Most of this stough is getting old and has served its time. I built my bike from a 100 dollar yard ordement
took it to sturgis and had a blast, now to tear her down and build her right it wont be cheep or easy.

I know nothing when it comes to bikes and the people that do want a gillion dollars to do any thing ! Had family charge me out the a$$ for repairs and then want close to shop cost to fix anything for me. Took my bike to a shop they had it forever and did nothing they charged me to do!

She aint much but I love her and thats all that matters to me!

Dave isn't trying to put you down, not by any means. He's just trying to point you in the right direction and it's not sugar coated.

Go back, read what he said again. Just realize though that his help is worth any gruff exterior you may have gotten upset over.

You want to figure out who's worth listening to. Look at their bikes. You won't see guys that give good advice riding some some shitrod excuse for a KZ.

Look at the pictures of their work. Draw your own conclusions.

There's good help and advice here if you're smart enough to look around and figure things out. You might start by looking at OMR'a bike under the projects section. He started with total heap of dung and look at it now. He's not blowing smoke up your ass
