I am not familiar with the 650 pipe (since there was no 750/4 during those days). I wonder if the baffle was the same size as the 1000 baffle. What would be good is for you to measure your baffle and have someone that has a 1000 pipe measure theirs. The stock baffle is a fit restrictive for the 1000 but if it is the same one might be perfect for the 800 sized engine. The reason I say that is because the pipe worked better on the 900 than it did on the 1000.

Oh its a 1000 pipe, don't think they made one for the 650. I just hope it'll fit. It fits my head, but the rest of the bike, who knows yet.

Unless you made some mods, a 1000 pipe would not fit. The spacing of the ports is completely different on the 650/750 head than on the 900/1000/1100 head. I believe that Yoshi DID make a 650 pipe.

I think that someone els on this websight has one for the 650 also.
I also forgot to mention, When I discussed the replication of the Yoshi series I pipe with MAC, we discussed the fact that oil plug and oil filter access would be quite important, unlike with the original Yoshi pipe. They mentioned the same thing and had the same ideas.

Hay guys, I know that I am getting a bit ahead of myself, but what do you think of the different Yoshi emblems that popped up over the years. There was the red badge that had the Katakana alphabet Yo-Shi-Mu-Ra characters with the English "Racing" underneath in red and white, or the all English Yoshimura oversized badge that came out on the series I and II pipes? I personally thought that the later emblems were just too busy. But that is just me. I liked the original simple red and white emblem much better. It looked like the Japanese flag with lettering. What do you guys think of a similar emblem in white on a blue background that looks like this. Mi Japanese penmanship is not the best but you will get the idea. It "Phonetically" says "Ma-Ku Ra-Se" Since the sounds in the Japanese language are very limited and do not have all the sounds we make. Maybe even underlined with a row of stars or something.

I'd be happy with any of those - mine doesn't have a badge or label and I can't find one. Blue would be best for my taste, but like I said, any would be great to have.

The original series I pipes had nothing at all than they went to a STICKER on the series I pipes. The stickers lasted about a week at best. Mine had the sticker on the Z1R.

Mark Wing has the prototype Yoshi pipe on his 650 i believe. Don't know if they ever built a production pipe for our little 4's tho. Liking my Mac Meg already.

Oh, well that must be what I have, because it fits. I just figured the exhaust ports had the same spacing, like the intakes.

Yes, they used Mark's 650 to build the pipe and he got one free of course but it got totalled in his accident so he got another one off ebay, so yes, they went into prodction I assume.

The spacing is about 1.5" wider on the 900/1000/1100 than on the 650/750.
