It won't be as cool looking but you can swap seats back and forth depending in whether you are 1 or 2 up.
Pegs? what would i be looking for ? I mean is there and aftermarket set that addresses this?

There's a solution to every problem. You Just have to look hard enough. I've been browsing and surfing around for a few unrelated things lately and it's seems you should be able to get something, try Bikemaster or emgo. 1/2" drop can make a world of difference comfort wise. You might be able to go more if it doesn't interfere with pipes, driver's feet, etc. while riding.
There might be other adjustments you can make as well.

Its drizzly damp here but i went for it and fired up the Shaft.
Rode it about 25 miles and then jumped on the Zrx and did the exact ride .
The ole KZ is like the good muscle cars . Big heavy but the beast comes alive when you grab that handful.
Just a joy to ride.
now the ZXR on the other hand in caparison is like the modern camaro or corvette .
Smooth as silk in the corners, braking is amazing . ride is very comfy.
But the real test is the throttle twist!! OHHH all i can say is while the KZ is no wus . That 1200 will about pull yer arms off lol.
I guess now I know why most guys have more than one lol. I love em both!!
All that said since my spill a few weeks ago Im still very timid in the corners and the roads are wet .
I can see its going to take a little bit for me to gain my confidence back. I see that as a good thing though .
bouncing down the asphalt is not for me so timid may keep my skin on lol.

My wife is a 'non-rider' and actually quite nervous on the back of a bike. I took her on the zrx and she loved it! She's on the 'high side' of 50 as well!
There are LOTS of solutions to your problem. Figure out exactly what it was about the 'Rex that she didn't like. As others have mentioned, if it's the seat for example, there ore tons of options. Same with the foot pegs.
Not to push you away from kzrider, but check out the zrxoa forum. Cool guys and good info too.

LOL - Mine too! I took her through Utah at 110 mph and she was sound asleep leaning on the backrest..... :woohoo:KZ802 wrote: Corbin makes that gunfighter seat with a detachable passenger rest- the gunfighter and lady. Not sure if that would help get her on the back but my wife is less concerned what motorcycle it's on and more concerned if there's a backrest for her!
I live near Portland, Oregon and my rider is a '76 KZ900 I bought new. I'm also in the process of restoring another one and a '73 Z1.
