In September 2012 an Arai saved my life, so I always ride with a lid.

But I'm left handed as well!! Doubley cursed, it's embarrassing when you scratch your huge noggin with your left hand. Having said that I am 6' 4" and fairly heavily built, I wouldn't want to look like a "Pinhead"

Not preaching but I am a fan of All The Gear All The Time. When i wrecked my bike a few years ago I was grateful I got to walk away with just a scrape and a bruise. Without the gear however, it would have been quite the opposite. Just my .02

Had Arai, but they don't fit my head right. Wore Shoei GRV's and Arai for many years till I stopped riding back around 2002. Started riding again this year, and I bought me a Shoei RF1200. I like racer replica paint jobs on my helmets. But Shoei does not offer any AMERICAN riders paint jobs, just furriner riders paint jobs. So I bought a standard RF1200 instead of the X12 model.
On my fat head the Shoei fits me the best!!!! The RF1200 is a little bit more wind noise than my older GRV model at high speeds!!!!
