So ran into another disaster with the 2 sets of carbs I thought I'd pull them apart and clean them well the one set came apart find but noticed a broken piece of the carb that was fixed with jb weld the other set had a frozen slide now after an hour of working on it I got it free and out but it is destroyed now I took a few pics the slider now fits in and slides freely but I did gouge up the carb a little bit and stupid me broke a piece of the brass part inside the carb there are pics will this cause issues? I don't plan on. Using these carbs but if for some reason I have to I will i have a feeling that both sets of carbs I have that are correct for the bike are junk I did put 1 set back together and everything functions but that brass piece I broke may be an issue and idk if that can be removed. And of course it's the same carb that's messed up on both sets so j can separate them and get then synced so I may have 2 sets of junk carbs that I can. Use the slider was frozen in the one set and it took over an hour to get free the other set is ok beside the one part of the carb that was repaired with jb weld

Ah SHT. Nothing should be forced. If you were having problems, you should have asked. The nozzle should come out with the main jet emulsion tube.

Ok so if I can replace that noozle and smooth out the marks I made it will be ok. That's the only thing I'm worried about the slide was stuck worse then anything I've ever seen before I even soaked it for a few hours before trying to get it out I had to beat on it pretty good which I didn't want to do but it had to come out. But the slider was destroyed in the process luckily I have 2 sets of these so Im sure I can make 1 good set for the bike cuz the bladder on the carb that's on the bike now has a hole in it so I'd like to have the correct carbs on it. So hopefully I have enough parts to make 1 set of good carbs for the bike. I'll have to get carb boots cuz the guy said the chrome top one's don't fit the motor??? Not sure why gonna have to pick uout a Clymer manual to find out how to remove that brass nozzle luckily I'm a full time mechanic at a local speed shop so go job is to big for me to take on. And hopefully I'll have this bike back to it's former glory tearing up the highways.

Ok I'll have to get a pic of them they ar 115's if that helps in both sets of carbs now the carbs that are on the bike are from a 1970's kz 750 twin like 77 or 76 I looked up online and found a set of 76 carbs on ebay and they are the same as what's on my bike now. So its an 1982 with 76 carbs I'll have to see about getting the correct carb boots for the correct carbs here are a few pics. Ok so now I have a major issue I didn't have the money to transfer the title when I bought it so I had the guy right me a bill of sale and we are transferring the title tomorrow but he told me it was a 1980 and he gave me a cut frame with vin number on it that comes back as a 1980 and this bike is a 1982 so if the title he has doesn't match this bike I'm getting my money back from him which I'd hate to do but I can't do anything with no title so hopefully the title matches this bike or I'm screwed

I was going to say, after you take out the main jets, you can drive out the emulator and nozzle. I'd be sure of the title before any more work.

Run a check on the Vin. No title means less money for the bike.

Where can I check the vin number? I'd like to get some info on it if possible to find out what's up with it and if it's even titled in p.a luckily I feel that getting it for 350 is still an ok price if i can get my money back from the guy i bought it from I'll try to get a title if i can't ill sell it for parts. Here is the vin the guy keeps saying it's a 1980 but the vin says otherwise 10th digit is C makes it a 1982

It doesn't have a plate?
Check the DMV, or with a salvage yard/lien sale place.

No plate hasn't been inspected for awhile has 3 different state inspections on it I wasn't really worried about that the guy told me the title was clean well here the title he has isn't for this bike he has a title for a 1980 not an 1982 so that alone tells me when he bought it he got screwed and never knew because he never registered it so now I gotta try and find out if it's stolen or if I can get a title for it if not I'm gonna get my money back he had it posted with a clear title which is not the case or i wouldn't have bought it.

Take a piece of paper and a pencil to make a holographic copy of the vin and the engine numbers. Rub the pencil over the paper where the numbers are. That is a legal way to copy the numbers. Take them to the DMV and have them run them. Good luck.
