New owner need help was created by Csr750_dave
So I purchased my first csr 750 twin for 350 bucks now it's missing the gauges I found a gauge set for a 1980 kz 750 Ltd is there a difference in the gauges for the ltd from the 4 cylinder to the big twin?

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThanks for the fast reply will they happen to work tho? These are what I found if they will work for the price I will buy them as soon as I know I can use them I know one is damaged but I can always replace one they are both cable driven so they should work just wanna make sure before I spend the money just wanna make sure.

Obviously, it's up to you. Personally, i wouldn't buy them even if they were not damaged. The tachometer has the wrong redline for your bike, and I wouldn't have one of those 85 mph speedometers on any bike I own. Ed

Looks like somebody chomped off the rear of the bike. The gauges should work but do you really want a speedo that only goes to 80 MPH? He's making his money on shipping.

Thanks for the info just wanted to make sure before wasting money cuz the bike is missing the cluster it doeseems run so I feel I got a decent deal the frame was cut a bit and I have to replace the shocks which is fine I just hate not having a speedo and tach. He cut the tach drive cable off at the motor so I'm gonna replace that. Does anyone happen to have a pic of the correct speedo for the bike? Sonce.I'm missing everything on the cluster for 20 bucks the bracket and neutral light and stiff maybe worth the 20 then just find the correct speedo and tach for the cluster. Cuz it seems like every speedo I find is only 80 mph I found 1 that's 140 but that's about 300 bucks I don't wanna spend. Now if I purchase these gauges will they be accurate being cable driven sorry for the dumb questions just wanna make sure if I go with them they will work for now til I find a better speedometer I don't plan on beating the bike or red lining it to 12 grand or doing 150 down a 4 laner so the 80mph would work fine if it accurate. Just need to how fast I'm going in town my 1980 honda cm400 I build only does 80 lol

Buying anything used is a crap shoot. There are less popular models you might get a closer fit. What year and model is it?

It might make it worth $20 if you owned a 1980 KZ750 LTD, but how much will it be worth sitting in your garage because it doesn't fit on your 750 twin? I suggest you buy parts made for YOUR model bike rather than parts made for a different model bike. The KZ750 twin has very little in common with any KZ750 4 cylinder bike. Ed

I made a later model cluster work on my Honda in the day. Looked and worked better than stock. It can be done.

Models with basically the same meter assy: KZ750-M CSR. 750-H Ltd. 650-H CSR. 1000-M CSR.
Linked below is a recent topic --- the op has a 1000-CSR, but the info is more or less applicable to the 750-CSR Twin. The meters themselves may not be identical & the electrical connectors may not be the same, but otherwise the meters should swap. 99.9% :)

Insturment cluster interchangability? ..... Kawasaki.com. partzilla.

I stand corrected. It appears that the KZ750-M1 ( CSR twin) and the 1980 KZ750-H1 (LTD) use the same bracket. Ed

Cross-referencing stuff can be maddening. I happen to be very familiar with whatever is the same as the 650-CSR. :P

Something different. maybe good for a cafe racer project. ZRX 400 gauges meters but probably cheap chinese junk
