I'll live with it first. At least until I can go 1105.

After checking compression and the oil leak I've decided to get new rings and gaskets. I have one set of rings so all I need is three more. She tested at 180 pis hot/running. 120 cold. Burning a little oil too. She runs good but I think she can do better. I'm thinking on getting some APE studs as well. Got the time so why not. Meanwhile I'll RIDE THE PISS OUT OF IT.:woohoo:

I don't know if you get Motorcycle Classics magazine, but there is an article about the Z2 in the current issue.

I think they said there are probably less than 50 of them stateside. Does that make it more desirable than a Z1? I'm not sure, but it's probably on par with it.

Might be cutting down on the sources of noise. That chattering noise is gone. I think it was the old rotor. Making bolt on mounts for the windshield cut down on some of the racket too. Coming home yesterday there was a jingling noise that turned out to be one of the highway peg clamps.

Not a KZ, far from it but it shows a shop won't always do a better job. This guy seems to know what he's doing and would be better off doing it himself.
