what did you do to your bike today?

...well, after being busy for the past two weeks, I finally got to strip down the rest of the bike. Hopefully, my new tank and seat will arrive in the next week and I can get that laid out. I need to figure out how to make and mount some rear sets. Cut off any tabs I don't need. After that, the frame and some other parts go out for powder coating.

...I just picked up a complete front end from a '89 ZX-10. I'm hoping to adapt it to my '79 KZ without too much trouble.

Fabbed bracket and mounted speed sensor, finished mount for side cover, finished battery box, and started rear brake linkage.

I rode it. In February. In Ohio. This winter has been great.

I scrubbed on it.

Installed gas, rode to work.

painting swingarm and wheel as we speak

Changed oil & filter & went for a ride (yesterday).

Drag bars, taillight, lots and lots of sanding, and drained my fuel tank.
