I see that you have made a few of those fiberglass fenders. I have been resisting the urge to mold some 'glass parts for my bike. I don't miss having to fool with that stuff. What a mess.
So how do you like the 17s on that bike? You have been riding it, havn't you? How often do you drag the header?

The 3 fenders I made are junk and only good for mock-up reasons. They were more or less practice pieces. I'm going to try again this summer and hopefully make a good copy. I can go through a lot of resin and fiberglass cloth for the rediculous amount Beasley, Airtech, and Sharkskinz quoted me to mold one fender.:blink:I see that you have made a few of those fiberglass fenders. I've had the 17's on my 1000 for about 6-7 years now. Number 3 head pipe and the collector are pretty flattened. The front forks are lowered about 2"(how I got them) and I had initially installed shorter Marzocchi piggyback shocks. I switched from shorter shocks to the longer stockers about 2 years ago and I haven't ridden it alot since. The handling was hampered by the lowered stance but the 17's seem fine. The improvement in front braking is huge though! So how do you like the 17s on that bike? You have been riding it, haven't you? How often do you drag the header?

I bet you get everyones attetion when you leave like that! Sweet bike. I love the combination of newer components, bigger motor, and still keeping the Z-1 paintjob. Apperently it runs pretty strong. What kind of et are you getting?

Awesome timeslips. I was wondering if you could put a whoopin on that Busa parked next to you. Looks like you got him unless he's got some serious mods. BTW what's up with the 0.4 sec. reaction times? You spotting somebody a couple of lengths?
