Question, are those Handle bars (rise) stock on a LTD?
I see the turn signals mounted on them, I guess I just never realized that's how they where mounted or is that PO or your concept....
Anyhoot, nice Roy, that is looking really sweet!

Stock signals too.
Years ago i went to the Kawi dealer to order front signals.
I asked for KZ900B signals and the dealer told me i really wanted KE100 signals and they are the same signal with a diffrent part number but half price.
I wish there were dealers like that now. Roy

I can't talk Thomas into buffing the cases out.
I'll start on them after i get all the covers shiny.
I buffed out the hub lightly. Roy

That is a lot of work.
I deciced on the black paint. I need to finish the body parts, brakes, carb cabl, carbs, handle bars and i'm sure some more odds and ends.
I really need to figure out how to get the rear brake lever spring on.

I got the lights sorted out. There was one bulb only in the insturment cluster! I had bought two boxes from z1enterprises a couple of weeks ago so i was good there.
I had to change out the handle bars as i can't find the LTD bars. The original bars were rusty.
Jetted the carbs down to 20/117.5 from 20/120. I think that should work.
Tomorrow i install carb filters, finish brakes, and get the tank and duck tail painted.
After that there is engine parts to polish. Notice the broken fin. (bummer)
I have another head but i am just going to ride the bike the way it is. Roy

Started out trying to get 1+4 to fire. I had to remove the carbs and check the float height. I thought i had them right yesterday!
It took me about 30 minutes of tinkering with the carbs to get them right. It will idle down to nothing. That's great.
One issue i had was a plug wire end that came loose on me twice.I replaced it.
It took me three hours to get the brakes bled and assembled. I can't find the right spring for the rear brake. Driving me nuts trying to install the wrong one.
I really wanted to work on the body parts today but we got a lot of work done.
I also installed some K+N air filters that i had bought on eBay. I paid $10.00+shipping for them in July of 08. It's good to pick up on parts you don't need at the time. Saved a few bucks.
I also found another Kerker exhaust can while i was looking for parts this morning. Love that Kerker sound.
Maybe paint before next weekend. I really want to take this bike to a poker run i ride in every year. Roy

I suspect i have a weak coil. The longer i rode the more of a miss i had above 3400 rpm.
Dyna coils are priced right from Jeff so i might order a set tomorrow.
I'm ready for Ohio. lots of quality used parts for sale. Roy

Nice find...$400 deals aren't going to come around often.
Nice turn around on this bike...
Must be nice having all the parts handy too.
I need to find a parts bike(or several)
