Thanks for the compliments, appreciate it. Here are a couple of side shots - as already stated it´s a 77 KZ650 B1, braced and powdercoated frame, dual front discs off a Z1R, front mag is from a 650 C (I think), Zephyr 750 swingarm, GPz900R rear wheel and brake, Harris 4in1, Henry Abe air filter, Kawasaki sports seat for a 900 adapted to fit, Clubmans upside down (the Euro style) and a set of Paolo Tarozzi chrome bar weights, Wirth progressive front springs, lowered 40 mm in the rear using Hagon rear shocks for an EN500, Dyna-S ignition, Dyna coils and plug wires, relay coil mod, H4 headlight conversion, Emgo tail light and some mini blinkers for a scooter. Still a way to go, ao I´m planning on some rear sets and I have a new engine in the works.

I bought my first one in 1984, during High School, a '78 C2;

The rear fender was the first to go. Also switched to pods. It came with the Yosh 4 into 1, open pipe and LOUD!

Over the years she's seen many changes; Got a Dyna Ign. Cir Cylcle coils and Clutch. First over bore with 3 angle valve job and porting, Kerker exhaust, Atk fork brace, Derale Oil cooler with braided lines, Drilled discs and braided brake lines, Koni shocks and Magnum progressive fork springs;

Painted Candy Apple Blue with Gold stripe following stock lines:

Added a 1/4 fairing:

Had Shoei hard bags and a backrest/rack for part of a season:

Then installed a Rickman fairing, Clubman bars and lost the hard bags, added a Honda VF500 chin scoop and painted the wheels Gold:

Fairing painted blue:

I put on '04 GSXR600 rear sets both sides:

I will be adding a stock length braced swingarm this Winter, as well as trying the electronic Ignition route again (kawi) as I'm using points at the moment.

I also was given my brother's '79 C3, but it sat out in the elements for many years, and probably will not ride again.

Although you can never say for sure. :whistle:

Whats up guys? Long time no see! I don't even think anyone realized me missing. I am the owner of a very fine SR650, 79 model. My pic is in the avatar, no new pics since. I have been busy at my new job, trying to add hours to the paycheck fellas. However I am trying to stop oil leaks on my 1000 for some time now. It's also kawasaki green on the tank and front fender, tail and side covers black. Trying to get a new chain. My world is so busy right now!

I've got my 4 good ones plus hard to count KZ650 parts bikes, 2 SRs, 2 77 KZ650B, a couple 78B, A 78 650c, a couple 79Bs, plus remnants sitting in the yard from others. Now guy's look through the pictures posted and tell me the repainted, modified ones look better than the originals? Don't think so. Those are my parts bikes since they are unusable thanks to the paint. The Yamaha 650 looks great I'll have to say.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
