Hi Rob, did you use "cut and paste" or "drag and drop" to attach your pics ? the following error message was showing on the "recent topics" page. I have converted your pics to JPG (couple of times now on this thread) It's best to "attach from a folder" using the "attachment" function then click "install all" before posting

The pictures are links to Photobucket where the pictures are hosted.
Not sure why their showing those warning messages.
I just copy their image tags in all my posts.
I'll try to figure out what I'm doing wrong.
It's worked in the past.

I click a pic, right click and chose save as then click JPEG. PNG files are too big so I chose paint then reduce the size to 50% then chose JPEG. They all turn out as a JPG pic. The pictures or snap shots are PNG so I have to take that extra step to post here or they won't be accepted. I delete them later. .

Replaced the broken points housing.
Clean and lubed the Advancer while I had it off.
The Ignition Timing will be checked later on...

Had a hard time getting her up on the center stand, even with some wood under the back tire.
Pulled out a wheel choke to hold the bike up:

Then a Jack to get the back end up:

Then another Jack to get the front end up, and the wheel choke out:

Front wheel off.
Going to look at the brake, replace the tire, and the steering bearings as there's a definite notch in the center.

What are people using for steering bearings?
I've read some bad reviews on All Balls.

I tried smaller picture sizes using Photobucket, but I think those Warning messages are showing up again?

The site doesn't like to use photobucket images it seems.

I don't see the waning messages ? best thing is save the images to a folder then convert to JPG before attaching :)

I don't like the fact their logo is all over the pictures. They didn't take them so why should they get the credit? I store them on a SD card and delete them later unless they're too good to get rid of.

Center stand usage issues are probably attributed to what looks like aftermarket shorter shocks. Tapered bearings like "All Balls" will effectively lengthen the stacked height of assembled triple tree. Meaning you'll find headlight ears will become loose after assembly and proper torque load on tapered set. Shimming under lower tree chrome beauty cover is always required i've found. I do one ear at a time so you can feel the load imposed. You don't want to super bind them but don't want them flopping around either. That "might" be the issue person's experience that give bad reviews, thinking it should just be plug/play. I make my own shims out of those washers that sit in each fork leg between fork seal and wire clip.

Would rubber "O" rings also do the trick for the headlamp ears ?

Well of course ya could but have to take into account the originals are flat. Buffering them with suitable sized orings would crimp the inner portion. I do love me some orings, just ask Nessium, ha. But in this application a flat next to a flat maintains a consistent long lasting assembly. I'm just gifted because i have a batch of crap and have "thought" about implementation and long term success. Seems this is the best resolve. Because of my focus rebuilding original stuff i just purchase original bits. Not that expensive and saves all the hassle of forementioned.
