Today I made up the fuel lines. Because of the RS34 carbs the selector lever on the petcock hits the top of the #1 carbs so I will have to shorten it. I used the armour springs from the old brake lines on the fuel lines because it prevents the line from folding on the one that makes a 180° turn right after the petcock to feed #1 and #2 carbs. Now I have to make up the bowl vent lines.

Yesterday we finished up the front turn signal relocation, finished installing and adjusting the throttle cables, adjusted the new rear brake light switch and put the muffler on for the last time. After that we dumped the old gas and did a diesel rinse to get any sediment out. The inside of the tank is really clean. Hopefully we will be starting it up next Saturday.

Today we fired it up. It started like I ran it yesterday and with a small idle adjustment it's ready to test ride. We're waiting on the centerstand stop from Delkevik so we can start test riding it. It's pouring rain here anyway so we'll have to be patient.

Today I made a key for the fuel petcock out of an old shock bushing. I had to trim the handle because it hits the #1 carb top. I'll keep it in the document tray incase the valve gets hard to turn or my old hands aren't working properly.
