I haven't been keeping up with this thread for a while - I think I have just been too busy with my own problems!
Just caught up now. Excellent work as always. I like the routing through the frame and swingarm. One thing you should look at is the entry point on the swingarm. Those braided lines without any coating on them will eat away at the swingarm over time. A friend has a deep gouge along his swingarm from them and I added an ABS panel to my swingarm that I can swap out when it gets too worn. In your case you could fix the line at the entry point so when the swingarm moves the line just goes up and down by the master cylinder and doesn't move at the swingarm. Hope that makes sense...

Good point Calum, I have “shrink wrapped” the clutch line where it enters and exits the frame, I could possibly use some plastic “spiral wrap” at the swing arm entry. I don’t want to isolate the flex point more than I have to as it causes a “stress point for the line. At one time in the UK braided lines where an MOT fail as the “approval test” at the time was a “whip test” (constantly flexing the line) where rubber lines out performed braided !!

That's another small but time consuming job crossed off the list :) A while back I chopped the back out of the headlight bucket to fit around everything else on the front end but never finished it. I have now run some brass around the inside of the seam and body-worked it ( far from perfect but invisible when the nose cone is fitted) The hardware was in bad shape which I had planned to clean up and re-plate but since the "keep it original" train has long since left the station this "repair kit" for £38 with everything I needed was just the job (any body in the UK need a 7 inch glass and reflector - they're yours for the postage) Also in the headlight is a module that powers the USB connectors I fitted ( 1 is 12v for my AFR, the other is 5v for phone, nav etc)
Since LED lamps run "hot" I made a heat shield for the module which also gave me a mount for the headlight plug :) and also sleeved the headlight wiring with heat resistant fibreglass tubing. Last job was a stabiliser (there is no room for the original) one would have been sufficient but looked "odd" as I can't mount it centrally (4mm rod and rose joints)

Couple more jobs crossed off the list this weekend., First the cooler, I made the fittings a while back but have now cleaned them up and given them a buff. Also cleaned and flushed the cooler then gave it a couple of coats of VHT black so that's now "done". I needed some clamps for the front brake hoses but I couldn't find anything that I liked so I made these. I have used 5mm stainless rod and turned the arbors out of alloy round stock. Really happy wit how they turned out because (in my opinion anyway) they don't look "home made"   still moving forward

I applaud You Wookie for keeping-up as Moderator and still finding time to build Your stuff!! Do you ever sleep, ha. Those caliper "dished" bracket bolts look like Triumph or Honda hardware? A fella just picked-up his CR250 2007 an hour ago and had the same dished but Zinc plated. But, have a drawer full of Triumph shiny that look the same.

Nice work Wookie. I really like the brake line clamps - they look really nice next to those shiny forks.

Asphalt: I'm picking the caliper bolts are Pro-Bolt race spec, given that Wookie's in the UK where they're made and they have holes for safety wire.

You have a good eye Calum, they are indeed Pro-Bolt titanium race spec bolts

Thanks Clay, it is indeed tough sometimes to keep all the plates spinning (I still have a full time job as well !!) The bike tends to be weekends mainly which is some of the reason it's taking so long (along with spending too much time looking and pondering rather than "doing")   the bolts are aftermarket titanium items (I didn't have any originals as the callipers and forks came from different bikes)
