J head will drop around 2 points so 13.5 pistons would result in around 11.5 to 1..

A bit over enthusiastic on the comp drop or a typo there Mikaw. It will lower compression. You could jump up to 13.5-1 pistons and your final compression would be about 10.5-1

So I bought the head today from the same guy who I got the turbo from. Said the bike made 300hp with the1433? punched cylinders and 3 shots of nitrous, said 200mph scooter! I do Not know or claim to know the veracity of this claim!! I just want to put a turbo on my 1977 kz1000 chopper!! The head comes with cams and some other things I have not checked out. I have been looking at MTC pistons for turbo application, but have not pulled the motor apart to see the cylinder condition or size. I thank you all who have chimed in. I will get the APE important parts and post all maneuvers that are bound to come with this type of build!! Like all of you I ain't rich.. and some savings will be deleted! But I will get this bike to be the way I want it. Pics tomorrow as I worked until 8 tonight. Chris

Its it’s what I had read. My mistake for repeating something I couldn’t confirm.

Hi Saablord, I've only got a couple of pics. It's a 1999 zxr1100. Full Muzzy Titainium Megaphone Pipe, Muzzy cams and selectable Timing gears. Dyna 2000 Ignition. Wide range heated o2 sensor for tuning. Lots of fun!! About 125hp if I remember. All the old plastic is now carbon fiber, while on vacation someone backed into the bike and the insurance payout was enough to get those parts! The exhaust note is so sweet it put this little guy to sleep!!

What a beauty! the under fairing caught my eye. I saw a genuine kaw one on the UK ebay awhile ago but cant find it anymore. Thinking about one for my project.
How much power are you shooting for on your turbo project?

I made the under fairing out of 28ga aluminum and it's attached with zip ties for easy access. Trimmed around the motor and riveted it together. Looks like I wanted it too. I haven't got started on the chopper yet, my knee are hammered and I get orthoscopic may 11, so we'll see when I am back online. But I'm shooting for 150HP, got a welded crank and the turbos original head. I'll start polishing everything at home to keep me busy, gonna be Sweet!! I already have the front brakes and Master Cylinder( that always reminds me of Felix The Cat). So I'm moving forward, Most of my Dirt Bike builds take a couple years this will probably be the same. Thanks for the Interest. Chris

Good looking wheels to someone willing to respoke them correctly. Not for that price though.
