im planning on running all the gsxr components as far as calipers and rotors

also wondering how mounting the swingarm came out i had some ideas on how to run the kz pivot bolt by creating a slug and some spacers but i was a little iffy on that, not knowing the strength of the stock pivot bolt and if it would hold up
any more info on that would help
thanks again

I have the swing arm mounted on a parts bike at the moment, it was easy to do! The stock pivot bolt is plenty strong enough, most of the force I believe is on the shock not the pivot. Your plan with the spacers and slug sounds like exactly what I did.

OK great I had everything planed out in my head but the only thing I was able to finish was the front end and now that I'm living/ going to school in Florida my bike is back home in new jersey and I will only get to work on it twice within the next 14 months so when I head back up north I'm going to try and hammer down and get things moving again

BTW I found a company who makes a complete set of laced wheels for the gsxr :woohoo:
Thanks for helpin out

Definitely following this build as I finished my 650 streetfighter build last year. I like where this is going...

78 kz 650 custom
Wiseco 720cc big bore
Dynajet stage 3 carb kit with pods
2002 Kawasaki Z750 exhaust
2001 Buell lightning front end
1999 Ninja 600 swingarm with 1999 Ninja 900 rear rim
converted to monoshock rear
Too many goodies to list fully
