Yeah, I like the look of duals. Maybe some ZRX shocks. My friend has a ZRX and I've always thought it was good looking.

Yes I did Leon. That looks good. Lots of good fabrication ideas on here. I'll either go that route, make a new caliper bracket on the mill or rotate the caliper to the bottom and make a stay arm. Just have to see what look I like. Should get the swingarm next week, then I'll start mocking things up.

with the caliper on the bottom it puts the bleeder on the bottom.
and,the caliper mounting bolts end up behind the caliper.so that a brake stay arm would have to wrap around the caliper.

Yea, parts arrived tonight. Thought I would throw it all together for a quick photo op. Looks like the swing arm will fit the frame nicely, and more importantly it's plenty wide for that wheel. Thanks for the tip Leon.

Got my stems pressed out and ready to bore out the ZX stem to be the sleeve for the KZ stem. Measured up what I need for spacers on the swingarm. Fire up the lathe and it's making a stange scrubbing sound. Wham, break the variable drive belt. So much for my Saturday plans.

Got some lathe work done in spite of mine being down until the new belt arrives. Bushed up the KZ stem and pressed it back into the ZX triple, so it's not just propped up in the picture. Made spacers for the swingarm. Can't believe how loose everything is by design on the KZ and ZX. swingarms 0.010" clearance on shafts and bearings? That's crazy, so I tightened everything up. That ZX6 bearing set up is wierd.
Suggestions for removing the drive sprocket when you can't step on the rear brake? Something I can hold on the dyno or clutch side? Otherwise I'll make a tool that slips over the sprocket so I can hold it.
