I agree 100 percent on the seat.
I left i this way for two reasons.
My brother, who i'm building the bike for wants to have a place for his boys to ride on the back.
My brother is a big dude, about 5'10" but 225lbs at that height, and built like a fridge, he works out SO.
I couldn't put clip ons on, cause he'd never be able to bend over that far.
So I left it thicker for comfort, now, we can remove the the fender and leave the tail piece.
I like the way the tail light fills up that space now though, you'll see when I finish the build.
I'm not done with the paint yet either, we're doing one of these kind of jobs.
then we're doing the triple stripe thats on the thruxton, on the front fender in the same green....we'd do it on the rear fender, but with the tail piece you'd never see it.
thanks guys

love bikes, and anything with a engine/motor, and i love the ride way more than the destination, unless I have a passenger, then that's all that matters.

I've got pictures of the fabulous paintjob my friend and c-worker did
bennerairbrushing.blogspot.com/
I have the electronics to install, the carbs to synch, and the exhaust.
I hope to have my garage cleaned out in time to finish this winter. I moved and didn't get a single thing done since May.

You've done a great job.
Well done.
Now get us some outdoor pix showing the whole bike.

I love it- the paint is great- awesome bike! If I see anything here that could use a little more sumptin sumptin is a different seat and delete the rear fender. I think the bike is a show stopper at that point!
