wow!! those 2 Canadian videos really hit home. Shannonville and Mosport are my home tracks. i ride at Shannonville every second week of the summer, and occasionally at Mosport.
Art Robins was our Local hero back in the day. his builders, Frank Lietner and Gord Bush, built my bike the 1st time.i have the carbs (VM33's)off Arts bike on mine for a while.
Michel Mercier runs the track riding school at Shannonville now. thats how i got started riding at the track. i took a class from Michel .
u know that your supposed to take your bike down to the basement to work on it in the winter. or the spare bedroom.

If only I were single...I would have done that already. Don't see that happening with the current home situation, though. And I'm okay with that for now.

I'm not single either, and my wife doesn’t like it, but my bikes still go to the basement for winter work.
i've tried a few dif methods to get them down the stairs too.. lots of big guys. a trailer winch bolted to a framework at the door way. and last year the best 1 yet. i used my lawn tractor to tow them up and down the stairs. :woohoo:

DoubleDub wrote: So I ordered a few of the engine parts I needed for myself for Christmas. I got a good set of low mileage, honed kz650 cylinders, pistons+rings, and a valve cover without the air injection ports (cheaper than buying block off plates). Pics will come shortly.
I've been thinking about this, and I'm wondering I should actually keep the 650 cover with the air injection ports, but fill the injection ports on the head and use them as breather ports for the cylinder head. Any thoughts?

LOL. You're cracking me up over here.
I'm thinking I can probably get the bottom end into the basement once I drain it. Also some random parts to polish. Need to get my work area set up first. Motivation has been lacking - winter is the devil.
