No problem, I remind riders of where to get parts every so often.

A lot of noise? I'd think if you get a back fire, some flames will shoot out, right by your legs. Also you might want to make/buy some caps/covers to keep rain out, otherwise I see rust a problem..

Ok, so here are a lot more pictures.
These mufflers are car mufflers, ha!
mufflers
I found them on ebay. This is a very low cost bike for me, so I didnt want to drop $300 on exhaust. The inlet is 2.5 inch, but "U" shaped tube that splits to mufflers is 2 inch. I just cut the middle out of the pipe and seperated it.
Obviously, I also cut the mount in half.
As for sound, another reason I bought these is cause of the sound lowering inserts. I have now ridden the bike with them in and out. With them in, it is not noticable louder than the stock pipes at all. The sound is a little different, but not loud. But then again, I dont have a good basis for stock sound, when I cut the stock cans off, I looked inside and they were TOTALLY hollow. The metal baffle was still in the far end, but thats it. With the sound killers out, it is a little louder but definitely not bad at all. I am pretty suprised and very pleased.
Anyway, I just did a lot of grinding and shaping to get everything to line up right, and they welded together real easy. If you have any questions, ask away.
As for back fires, the pipes are pointing further behind the rider than you realize. As for rain, I live in southern california and I park in a garage, so I am not worried.

Ok, so no pics, but I got a new valve cover gasket, new cam end half moon seal things, new seals for the oil pressure sensor and new stator gasket. I have cleaned the motor and installed the valve cover gasket, the cam seals and the pressure sensor seals. I am gonna do the stator cover this weekend.
Question tho, what tire is this on this bike? (beautiful bike, btw)

Cool, glad you like it. So I finished installing all the gaskets and I finished clear coating the paint on the tank. I will post pictures tomorrow. But I have a question, after installing the exhaust, the bike pops under no throttle decel and it pops if im in like, second and doing 30 just cruising. This would be a pilot jet, right? There is no idle air mixture screw. It cant be the main jet, right? Mike, I am sure you know the answer to this.

You should have idle mixture screw on those carbs, lots of information found around here. Your pilot jets could go up a couple steps if you haven't yet. Also I can't remember if you plugged off the emissions ports on the top of your valve cover? Plug, cap or connect the two EGR intakes so no air gets into the exhaust system post combustion.
