well first thing im doing is rebuilding the engine. Then the mono shock mock up. A couple of small tricks. Then the big thing....SSSA. I am going to use a triumph and reverse engineer it. I have a few ideas that my machinist friend and I are considering for looks and more important strength.

Later Im adding FI with a turbo. I want to get it running and working the bugs out before tackling the FI. I will be using a Megasquirt system. So that should be fun.

when i built my custom swingarm to fit a 200 mm wide tire and r1 wheel the main thing i did not want to do was modify my frame,at all.
so if at a later date i wanted to put it back to stock i could.
i was succesful to,and i believe that you will be also.:)

I thought that irishwill was working on a bolt on mono-shock mount. You may want to consult with him as an option to welding a mount to your frame.

Testarossa is correct, kzr member Irishwill is working on a bolt on mono mount. I know you are planning to build the engine first (specifics?), but you might want to start keeping your eyes peeled for a triumph hub and get some hub bearings ordered. That way you've got the parts to measure and mock up during lulls in the engine build. I assume you're looking for a speed triple 1050 hub?

I just found a speed triple arm complete with hub, brake mount, and shock linkage. Im buying it now.

I notice on a site over the atlantic that they have bolton kits and I was thinking of the same. It was simple.

Do you think its a difference between a 1050 and 955 hub.

Engine will be basic rebuild nothing special right now. Later I will go a little bigger with FI and turbo. But I just want it built and riding soon so im concentrating on the bike as much as possible
