Guys I think this was a touring 400.?? Is that even possible? Got some weird brackets on the pass. foot pegs that make me think of bag mounts... Someone say it aint so.

I was keeping an eye on that on craigslist for a while now. The guy started out asking for $5000 for that bike. I'm not even kidding about that. He went from $5K to $2500 to $1K to $650 then $500. I'd say at $200 you got it for about what it was really worth.

Apparently Kawasaki did offer a dresser KZ400. You learn something new every day.

Anybody know where I might find those bags and bout how much they cost?? Oh yeah I got that engine to turn but it has a wobble on the stator side case still might get that newer engine

I think your best bet for the luggage would be to check eBay and CL. You may be able to find them new, but would probably cost a small fortune compared to a used set.

okay I have been trying to get this engine to start to no avale.... Soaked carbs but now I need new intake boots and this is a real problem. I'm in too deep with these projects so it's time to backup. Anybody out there got advise on the intake I need it. Just want something to RUN!!!!

Otay so no word on the carb holders??? Can somebody at least help me with this motor not firing..... Put the coil and carbs on my backyard bobber and the damn thing popped right off.... Wat in this world is wrong with the new project??,compression built up to about 120 and the carbs worked on my other motor so I was always taught fuel plus fire = running engine HELP ME ANYBODY!!!

If you have good spark, you're sure it is getting air/fuel, and good compression, I would check ignition timing to see if it is off. Others may have some better suggestions once you check that :)
