They obviously will work at other angles so a little lean one way or the other shouldn't matter. I would think the carb is designed to be operated with the fuel bowl being as close to level as possible to work best.

Looks good so far. And if there is a deterioration of the material over time, a quick stop to Home Depot buys you a new one! I love using PVC for all kinds of stuff.

Looking at your design, it seems the fuel delivery should be balanced, but when you get it running, you should check to be sure both cylinders are getting roughly the same amount of fuel. Spark plug checks, header temp check while running, etc. We don't want a lean fuel mix messing up a cylinder.

What does the inside look like? Any places where there is an edge exposed, like the end of each fitting, will reduce the flow of the gas/air mixture. When you port and polish a head, for instance, the idea is to remove any surfaces that interfere with a perfectly smooth air flow. The inside of that intake should be like one long, smooth pipe for best performance.

Just food for thought.

Will it idle if you spray a wee bit of fuel into the intake to keep it going or is it flooding at idle? I would try holding your hand over most of the intake to limit the amount of air it is getting.

Gotta figure if it is getting too much/little fuel or too much/little air. If too much fuel then idle mixture screw needs leaned way out. Other jets may be in order.

Not very scientific help, more a trial and error thing.

5string at it again!! Thnx 4 the reply... It idles but way to high tried the adjustment but it boggs down when all the way in and sloppy throttle response. Gonna try and find a pod filter then chk jet sizes other guys have used. Think this carb is off a 250 not 125 like others have used. Ebay buys sometines suck!! I smell fuel really bad so I know it's running rich. Jetting is gonna be trial and error as u(5string) said:'(
