So I have been thinking about my build and it's purpose and I feel like with as much riding as I will be Doig a hardtail won't be practical so I have come up with an idea for a low profile drop seat softail that hold the line of a hardtail I drew it up and will post it as soon as I can. Any suggestions?

If interested, here's some info about "Konging" a frame rear suspension.

I suspect that in order to make this drawing happen, you'll have to do two things. Number one, you will have to find some very short shocks, and limit yourself to having a fairly short throw rear suspension. Number two, you will probably wind up stretching the wheelbase of the bike with even the shortest of shocks.

Try looking at the rear suspension of a newer Ninja 650. The rear shocks are similar to your picture. Also, you may consider the possibility of using a mono-shock swingarm set up just like my bike. If you were to eliminate the subframe portion of my bike, you could possibly fabricate a much lower single seat with a bobbed tail. You would have to get creative with the battery box and electrics, but that could work.

This link might give you some ideas: kzrider.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&...=11&id=347813#347887

Have a look at the fourth picture. If you can get past the second one. It's Jordan's bike. Just try and picture it with the seat like your drawing. If you get my drift. Also the black bike with orange wheels is almost exactly what I'm thinking of.

your design is neat, however im not sure how the geometry will pan out. here is a pic i found that is a similar design but the suspension is more like the ninja 650. check out tons of other unique bike like this one here www.pipeburn.com/home/?currentPage=5
