Yea it is I talked to the guy who built it he bought it at a swap meet and welded it all together and cleaned it up

where can u find more pics of this bike at cuz i wanna all round look at it, and will fat bob tanks mount to my kz550 easily? that tank is super sweet!!

As far as I know he just patched them didn't make one giant resevior

The bike looks good man, were you an 1141 or 1142 with the Marines? I can never remember.. anyways im still a 2161 machinist and am also building a kz..(also free) Ill post a link to my buid as soon as I start a thread.. go with the sporty tank, it will look sick

1142 an 1141 was the basic wiring stuff 1142 was all things electrical I was retired in 08 after being medivaced out of Iraq so starting to get out of the loop but I wish I could go back

here is a buell blast i have ruint :laugh: .
the rear shock is the stock shock in the stock upper mount with the front of the swingarm cut out and moved forward to allow me to lower the bottom mount to get the bike lower.
so if the ninja shock doesn't work out the blast may be an alternative to get a cheap shock that is built to do pretty much what you are wanting.
