Scott Goodyear and Gord built my bike back in 79. I bought it from Scott.
It was an 1135cc at the time. there weren’t any 1100’s around then, So she was very fast in her day.
Gord does excellent work. He is the only 1 I know of that can do extensive crank work around hear. Ralf and Mike send the tough stuff to Gord.
Gord actually replaced the rotor end on 1 of my cranks. And milled my cases , barrel surface, true to the crank.
I bought my last MK11 crank from Mike. He is a very nice guy.
I have bought several parts from Ralf, the last was a Yosh pipe, he even sent me 2 pipes and let me pick the 1 i liked best, and i returned the 2nd pipe..B)

Yeah, Ralph sold me my kerker, he was honest enough to mention that he the baffle wasn't in there and knocked off some dough without me even saying a thing, then he threw in a free dragbar. He has a lot of 2 stroke stuff in his shed which was cool to look at. Makes me wish I grew up in the 70's, the 90's sucked balls.

Wow, thanks. I never knew that...amazing that you can analyze that by looking at some pics, lol. If you're that good what's the really mangled part? And no to the previous guesser- not a seat.

BTW,it didn't spit a shim- done that, know what that looks like and never seen an under bucket shim get spit out anyway.Where do you think it could go? Through the side of a bucket?

If you seriously think I had anything but the best of parts in that motor give your head a shake.

Sorry. not a bearing insert -although I did have to go and count them to be sure...don't feel guilty - I've busted up a lot of stuff over the last 30 years. If you beat on them eventually you'll find a weak spot.

No to the valve seat Mark, it looks like all 8 are still in place. Some however do not have a have a valve face closing on them at the moment...
