Thanks boys :P

If I ever build a space shuttle I will send a message from Mars, or Cygnus X-1. :woohoo: :woohoo:

It goes slowly the right direction, but Hey! I have never been closer, just look.

Hydraulic clutch conversion.

Using master cylinder and pipes from Hayabusa. Fits perfectly, look at the video at the bottom.

First making an template.
[IMG

Carefully making where the holes are been drilled.
[IMG

Here is the slave cylinder, bought on Ebay, its from a ZX900 (GPZ900R).
[IMG

Its been blasted and Gun Koted, wih new sealing.
[IMG

Its narrow where the cylinder its been fitted.
[IMG

[IMG

So, heading over to the junkyard, to collect some aluminum.
[IMG

Here is the outcome. 9mm.
[IMG

The faithful DeWalt.
[IMG

[IMG

Drilling out the holes.
[IMG

Bullseye for the clutch rod.
[IMG

I just needed to cut the original clutch rod, but since I had three all with different length its not 100% sure that that is the common way to do it.

You can see a bearing (12X28X8) on the gear axle, the original cover supports it, so I need to make a new support for it.
[IMG

Drilling out a 28mm hole.
[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

Here is the final result, I will ofcourse blast and Gun Kote all the parts.
[IMG

Starting to look right.
[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

In order to make the cylinder fit without built to much in I need to put on an old outer race steering bearing.
[IMG

Then it will be something like this, still left is to cut and trim it.
[IMG

As you can see on this video it functions OK. The bearing fits exactly when I press it in, and I will secure it.
[IMG

The clutch conversion is almost there, but something is missing.
[IMG

Making an template.
[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

Carbon Fibre.
[IMG

Hi temp epoxy.
[IMG

The carbon is curing under pressure.
[IMG

And here is the raw carbon fibre part.
[IMG

[IMG

After sanding and 2K clear cote.
[IMG

Then I needed some menacing stuff.

Here is an old under-tray.
[IMG

And here is something I always have liked.
[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

And done with 2K clear cote.
[IMG

Side covers!

I had some covers from the ZX1100, and after some brainstorming I decided me to do some convert.

[IMG

[IMG

The ignition switch is in the left side cover.
[IMG

[IMG

And here is the rear hugger, from TL1000R, bought new on eBay. Needed to make hole for the left shock.
[IMG

GOLD.
[IMG

Some ideas where this is going?
[IMG

The rear.
[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

The color scheme...
[IMG

The front fender is new aftermarket from a GSX-R1000 K10, bought on Ebay from US. Do NOT fit straight on a Hayabusa fork, need some converting.
[IMG

And the tank.
[IMG

This is the first layer of 2K clear cote, coming more.
[IMG

And here we are, engine runs well now, bought #130 jets and fairly OK so far, but need some more adjustments when I get it on the road. Only been driving small trips.
[IMG

[IMG

Ordered this parts couple of days ago, from Sweden, they are made in Germany and they called me up and told me that it may take a little extra time, but thats OK.
[IMG

The front light will be a little modified I guess...
[IMG

Also I got some second hand Øhlins shocks, more about them soon.

So, not much left now.

Thanks boys!!! :D

Well, I bought some Øhlins, I guess they are at least 20years old, maybe more...
[IMG

Looks like shit.

[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

[IMG

It looks like overhauling shocks is a religion if you ask some people, the only problem is finding someone that can vacuum and fill oil and nitrogen. If you cant do it by our self. So I have to find someone that can do it, if not I have to do it my self.
If you want to do something that is a little out of the normal here in Norway, its heavily expensive, if i should make one of the two (!) shock companies here to do this they would charge me over 500 dollars before anything of new parts where included... Just the labour.
I will look for some more advanced shocks anyway, this will do the job for now.

Done with some new seals, and Gun Koted.
[IMG

I just received some Øhlins stickers bought on Ebay I will put on, make them look a little more nicer.

Parts arrived !
[IMG

Tank cap from z1enterprises With old style key, looks original with Kawasaki name on.
[IMG

Looks right this!
[IMG

Adapting the fastener.
[IMG

[IMG

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
[IMG

Need to make a fastener for the headlight, only on I need to make, since it came with all I need, almost. :haha:
[IMG

Blasted, ready for Gun-Kote.
[IMG

Yes.
[IMG

[IMG

Tomorrow I will install the headlight.
And starting to connect the speedo.

I checked the fuel level sender, maybe I will use it and connect it to the warning light.
[IMG

All readings was in the limit, so it is OK.
