Damn! OH MY GOD! Why didn't I read your thread before? I have got some serious catching up to do. I read through pages 24 and 25, and I'm stunned. That bike will be one of a kind. Genious work wrapping that tank with carbon fibre. My personal style is a bit more subtle, but your bike is an inspiration. Keep that turtoise moving! Did I mention that I like your build.

Thanks boys!
The bike stand is supported underneath the frame, but you cant see it from those pics.
Latest news from Norway.
If you look closely you can see some blue isolation tape spots many places.
I have removed the black tape that cover the whole harness, and this blue tape covers the connection points, first I thought it was unoriginal, but when I removed it I saw it was original.
I think its a bad idea not to check it up, they are almost 30 years old, and at the same time do them better.
Shrink tubing and soldering, they will hold the next 30 years...
The wiring harness is in very good condition, surprisingly, I will also clean up all the connectors.
Then lunch...
The famous Norwegian brown cheese! You put it on sandwiches, very nice on warm bread.
Made from goat milk!
After this refreshing meal, its time for some clutch.
I like to put the plates in oil bath for some days before installing.
I am working on hydraulic conversion, so I cant bolt it together yet.
And some Gun-Kote.

Thanks boys.
Here is a little update.
Its a shame that Rush only have been in Norway twice, with 25 years between... :S
You all have some old oil lines around, and the bad thing is that the old couplings are there, but hard to reuse.
Well here is what I have done.
Chop them off from the rubber hose.
Use a angle grinder and cut around.
That have generated so much heat that you just can twist the coupling off the rubber.
After some rounds with grinding off the last remains of the coupling. And sandblasted.
Done. You all know what paint I have used.
Now I can use whatever 10mm oilline I want.
OrgRacing
SamPowerSports
(They will not be blue for a very long time after I have received them)
The gear link.
I started with a aluminum rod, a little thicker that I wanted to use, but still useable.
Making threads.
Chopping off the other part I want to use.
Before blasting.
And done.
The rear brake rod.
I used the old one from an GPZ1100 85 model, In US it is a ZX1100 if I remember right?
Old VS New shortened.
After blasting and paint.
So, now its not much left before I can crank up the engine...
The chain looks closer to the frame then in real.
:woohoo:

The bike is looking very nice. I read through the whole thread yesterday, nice work!
Are you going to gun kote the front calipers too? The gold looks great on the rest of the bike and now these don't match.

Shit!
I thought no one would notice the calipers...
Yes, they will be gunkoted, but not before I have ridden the bike a little, or if I dont are going to be finished this summer they will be taken this winter.
Thanks for nice words.
I can mention that I have done the tire changing and balancing my self, its easy, here is how to:
