Ok Steve, so the MS2 is a better option if it can be hidden, simply for its ability to control more accurately, am i right?
So the Microsquirt has 2 channels for spark & injection, i understand the wasted spark theory as our Twins use that but does that also mean that with the Microsquirt there will be an injector firing into a 'dead' cylinder as they run in pairs?

Sorry, i should have explained myself more clearly Steve. I know the TB's themselves aren't wired but as the injectors are part of them i thought using a full injector harness from a current bike would make things easier, even i've got a couple of those lying around (mainly for the 2nd rail of injectors off a modern 8 injector bike). I might just whip the tank & airbox off the race bike at the weekend to get a better understanding of TB's, their wiring & the sensors.

So are those (modern bike or your 750 Turbo) injectors considered low impedance then? & can the MS2 run std kawasaki coil on plug?, it'd be nice to free up some usable room. There seems to be alot of hiding stuff with this......MS box, Fuel pump, Fuel press reg & i assume a fuel return needs welded into the tank somewhere?

Sorry for the trivial Q's Steve, as you've probably gathered i trust you & respect your opinion on these things.

Got the MS dealer in the UK from the MS site www.extraefi.co.uk/ looks like he's more into cars though

The cheap way:
MS1 kit - $140
Throttle bodies $35 for 750 Turbo (fits on 900/1000 also)
Wideband O2 and controller $100 (JAW)
External Fuel pump $35 used
Various sensors used $25
Various parts $100

& tell me, what are those "Various sensors used" & "Various Parts"?

& what PSI of a fuel pump is needed, any ebay links for a suitable one & a regulator? (just to see a price)

83 gpz1100 throttle body flow # according to larryC

@10" of water

125CFM Stock with airbox rubber stack
114.7 CFM W/O stack
143 CFM Pogue Taper Bore Throttle Bodies w/ stack

Using the formula estimate that 1 hp requires 1.5 cfm

4 x 125 = 500cfm
500 / 1.5 = 333 hp

If this is correct then a 83 gpz throttle body should be plenty.

Some good news to report. I finished wiring in all the ignition setup and have validated that the stock pickups WILL fire the MS outputs... I had suspected that they would, but could not verify until now. I am gonna try and poor some fuel to her tomorrow and see if she cranks.. woo hoo.

I know its a double post, but wanted to share. .:)

What are you waiting on? :)

I have my bike running, but no tuning yet. I just mounted my O2 Sensor in the header last night, so I should be able to do some tuning this weekend.
