1973 Z1 rebuild

Are those plugs gold coloured?  I think that was how the first Z1's came.

its one of the NGK B8ES that were in the engine the last time it was used 20 years ago.

There is a high probability they are original to the engine from the factory.  Very difficult to find nowadays.

I have been busy bolting bits on and also sorting out fasteners and other parts to see what Ive got and what has to be renewed.
I had to make a bracket to put the Dyna rev limiter of the front of the battery holder as its original spot has been taken by the oil container. 

my mate Steve came around again today and we got the engine into the frame, using an engine crane and sling under the engine. 
 
Next was the swing arm and some time spent straightening a slightly bent foot peg.  the triple tree popped into position for a look see.

No difference in function but if you're doing a complete restoration they are the colour of the original plugs.
